Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan will give refunds to the supporters who travelled to Barnsley on Tuesday evening. Jordan was disappointed with the team performance in the game that was lost 1-0 thanks to a NEIL SHIPPERLEY goal.
Earlier this season he did the same after a 2-0 defeat at Preston North End. Jordan that the supporters didn't get value for money.
The Eagles supremo, who is prepared to pay £6,000 from out of his own pocket to the 400 fans who travelled to South Yorkshire, said: "I accept that every game can't be won, but I won't accept performances like Tuesday.
"I have a responsibility to ensure that our fans get respect, commitment and value for money and against Barnsley they most certainly did not.
"I am neither setting a precedent or being gimmicky. I was just appalled by our performance and I do not believe our superb and valued fans should pay for what they saw."
Refunds can be claimed by contacting the Selhurst Park Box Office on 020 8771 8841.
